Celebrate Fall at Pumpkin Daze


Come on down to your neighborhood farm! We have Kane County’s largest corn maze, a mini maze for those slightly less adventurous and a bunch of activities fit for the whole family to enjoy! When you are ready for a break, stop by the Tumbleweed Grill and grab a fresh-made donut! Parents you are invited to step inside the craft beer and wine tent anytime!

This year we will keep the flavors flowing between Pumpkin Daze and Thanksgiving! From November 4 – 17 Abbey Farms will host sampling stations, tastings, cooking classes and more! Details coming soon!









Specialty Pumpkins are Available Here


Our Farmer’s Market is closed, but now is the time to purchase fresh pumpkins and other fall harvest items at the Farmstead Emporium! We have pink, white, and sweetie pie pumpkins, among others! When buying a pumpkin, choose one with a flat bottom so it stays put while carving and does not blow over in the wind. The pumpkin should also look fresh and have no cuts or dents. While making a Jack O’Lantern, remember to cut the lid at an angle so it stays on top!

Recipe of the Month-Nearly Perfect Nachos


This hearty snack can be made from items you regularly find in your pantry or fridge! Get the recipe here!


Nearly Perfect Nachos

  • Grab a pack of tortilla chips and spread them out on a greased rimmed cookie sheet

  • Add several generous dollops of our famous Black Bean Dip then pour spoonfuls of our Monterey Jack Con Queso for the next layer.

  • Add either Hormel Chili Dip with no beans, chorizo, or meat of choice (cooked) and bake at 350* for 20 minutes.

  • Top with chopped lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. If you like heat, we recommend adding our Blazin’ Habanero Salsa.

  • or a not quite so spicy version, try this with our Roasted Garlic Salsa.

  • Mix and match your toppings with whatever you have on hand and enjoy!

Be Green this Halloween


Decorating with pumpkins for Halloween? Skip the plastic ones and select the perfect piece from our U-Pick Pumpkin Patch or Pumpkin Pasture! When you carve them, throw the stringy part onto your flowerbeds as mulch and then toast the seeds for a healthy break from those sugary Trick or Treating treasures!
